frequently asked questions:
Why is there no program fee?
We have adjusted our program and removed the program fee because we believe camp is for everybody. Therefore we want to make it more accessible to a wider variety of people.
Normally there would be an upfront cost for a program like this, for example other work and travel experiences in North America. Instead, your future camp employer will be subsidising your program fees.
The costs that you will be required to cover are outlined about under "your costs".
Am I guaranteed a place at camp?
The summer camps we work with are looking for highly skilled individuals. Placements are based on your application and camp hiring needs.
These hiring needs can change as the season progresses, so the timeline can be different for everyone. Please be patient and connect with the Community Success Team if you have any concerns or questions. If you don't get placed after your first interview with a camp; don't worry, there are other camps and spots available. Not all placements happen early in the season.
When is the best time to apply?
Easy answer – now! The sooner you apply the higher the chance you have of getting placed at one of our amazing camps. The longer you wait, who knows how many roles will be filled already?
Can you refund my costs?
The costs outlined in 'Your Costs' which the applicant is required to pay, cannot be refunded for any reason.
