Work & Travel Program: Referral Scheme Terms and Conditions
Promoter
The promoter of this referral scheme is Camp Canada Ltd (company no. 13174139) whose registered office is at 44 Simpson Street, Liverpool L1 0AX.
Eligibility
This referral scheme is open to all Work & Travel Participants and to all Camp Canada Alumni. Employees of Camp Canada, their immediate family members, and individuals connected with the organization or the operation of the referral scheme are not eligible.
Referral Criteria
A successful referral can be achieved in one of two ways:
Current Participants: A current participant* refers someone who applies to the Work & Travel Program, is accepted, and both individuals complete a minimum of 3 weeks in their respective camp placements. Should the same referral be made by multiple people, the referral reward will apply to the first submission only.
Alumni Referrals: A Camp Canada alumni (across all programs) refers someone who applies to the Work & Travel Program, is accepted, and completes a minimum of 3 weeks in their camp placement.
*participants that apply for our First Timer program do not qualify for this referral scheme.
Reward for Referrals
For each successful referral, the referring participant will receive $100 CAD in the form of a gift card valid for use in Canada. Participants can refer up to 3 individuals, with a maximum reward of $300 CAD.
Payout Terms
Gift cards will be distributed in August 2025 following verification that the referred individuals have met the referral criteria. Participants will be notified via email when the gift cards are ready.
Referral Submission Process
To refer, participants must use the unique referral link or code provided by Camp Canada. All referrals must be submitted through this method to qualify for the reward.
Conditions of Participation
By participating in the referral scheme, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Camp Canada reserves the right to modify or cancel the scheme at its discretion without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
Camp Canada accepts no responsibility for any lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected referrals. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate reward details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this referral scheme.
Non-Transferable Reward
The reward cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or substituted, except at the discretion of Camp Canada.
The data may also be used by Sponsor in order to verify the entrant’s identity or to otherwise verify the entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Contest. Entrants have the right to access, review, rectify, or cancel any personal data held by Sponsor by writing to Sponsors. Personal data will be used by Sponsors and its affiliates exclusively for the purposes stated herein.
Changes to Terms
Camp Canada reserves the right to amend the terms of this scheme at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the Camp Canada website.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Publicity
By participating, entrants agree to the use of their names and images in promotional material related to this scheme, in accordance with Camp Canada's Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.smallerearth.com/uk/privacy-policy.
General Terms
Camp Canada reserves the right to disqualify participants or cancel referrals if any participant is found to be acting contrary to these terms or engaging in behavior detrimental to the scheme's integrity.
